Thommen's Service

1. Full Service on our diesel trucks is performed at 5,000 miles - 6,000 miles - 10,000 miles or 18,000 miles depending on year,make and model. We change the engine oil,oil filter and fuel filter with original equipment parts, fill the engine with CJ-4 Grade 15-40 Mobil Delvac. Grease the chassis including, steering,suspension,transmission and drive shaft. Check all fluid levels and top off. Check all lights and fill all six tires to stated tire pressures. A minor visible safety check is perfomed. This service is 1 and 1/4 hours and usually you can wait for this service. Schedule appointment for this service

2. Federal Annual Inspection. All commercial vehicles over 10,000 G.V.W. require a technician with experience to perform a federally approved check sheet. This service takes 1 hour and may require additional work to be performed. It is recommended that the truck be dropped off for this service.( If the truck is a current or next to current model you can wait. ) After the truck or trailer passes, an inspection sticker and a signed hard copy is left with the vehicle. A copy is kept at our location and a second copy is given with the repair order. Schedule appointment for this service

3. Six wheel tire rotation. This service is for trucks equipt with the same tread design on all wheels. (Many trucks have traction tires in the rear and highway tread in the front. This service takes anywhere from 1/2 hour to 3/4 of an hour. ( Extra time for wheel simulator removal or rusted fasteners). Schedule appointment for this service
